According to Financial Times’ announcement of March 2, 2020, the fourth annual list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies – FT 1000 is now out, and among them we were happy to find our software development company – SOFTECH from Cluj-Napoca, Romania too! It is the first time we enter this ranking compiled by FT and Statista research company and we feel priviledged to be one of the five IT companies from Romania that qualified for this ranking, as stated by the local Ziarul Financiar publication!

SOFTECH was listed in the technology FT sector, along with MetaMinds, BittNet Systems, Tremend Software and Softelligence. The CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of these companies was situated between 42% and 111% during 2015 and 2018.

SOFTECH is the only technology company from Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania to be listed in Europe’s fastest-growing companies – FT 1000 with a CAGR of 44.1% and an Absolute Growth Rate of 199.1 % between 2015 and 2018.

The competition is high in the 2019 ranking, taking into consideration that the minumum acceptable growth rate to enter the list was of 38.4 and that the top listed company – OakNorthBank from UK’s FinTech sector- had recorded a CAGR of 621.5 % !

The dominating sector in the lot of 1000 companies proves to be technology with a presence of 189 companies, to which adjacent sectors like e-commerce and fintech may be added.
