SOFTECH has solid experience in OCPI protocol based systems, particularly in designing, implementing, managing, and testing OCPI-related flows in the EV charging ecosystem. Being the core development team of an OEM Tier 1 supplier, for the last years, we have gained notable EV charging expertise, delivering scalable and innovative solutions.

Given the scale of the collaboration, we acquired proficiency in the OCPI protocol, including:

  • deep understanding of the OCPI charging flow between CPOs and eMSPs,
  • proficiency in communication between OCPI tenants including credential handshake and data synchronization mechanisms,
  • familiarity with the OICP and OCHP protocols,
  • migration of systems between different protocol versions,
  • integration of OCPI tenants while adapting to their special requirements and implementation deviations from the protocol.

Working directly with the customers of the OEM Tier 1 supplier, we have managed 1.5 million EVSEs and their corresponding Tariffs from multiple CPOs, CPO Aggregators, and Hubs.

Additionally, we have integrated more than 25 OCPI tenants from the Northern America, Asian – Pacific  and EU markets, adapting our system to different EV charging landscapes. This includes establishing an effective working mode for tenant integration while providing implementation guidance and consulting for future OCPI partners.
