Transilvania Digital Innovation Summit will take place in October 16, at Elitis Conference Center, in Cluj-Napoca! The project is co-financed by the European Commission and is organized by the European Digital Innovation Hub in Transilvania. All those interested to better understand what digital transformation is about, will have the chance to interact with experts in the field, from local and international organizations.
Transilvania Digital Innovation Summit Tracks
The topics chosen by the organizers aim to cover practical situations and guide the audience towards those technology solutions that already change our daily business and normal life. The main tracks designed for this year conference will be the following:
- Artificial Intelligence & Data – a track that aims to highlight what AI can be used for during our daily business or entrepreneurial operations, focusing on the current possibilities
- Cybersecurity – a track created during the conference, intended to present how small, medium and large businesses should protect data, processes and people!
- Digital Health & Education – the track that tries to present a summary of the ways in which new technologies can help us during the daily routines. The focus will be on people’s health and continuous educations.
- Digital Public Administration – the chapter presenting how digitalzation can improve public services. A few showcases will be presented during the event.
- Green & Smart Communities – the section tries to depict the possibilities of using technology for transforming current urban ecosystems in more sustainable ones.
- Industry 4.0 & Automation – the track that will concentrate on presenting the potential factories and companies of the future!
The European Digital Innovation Hub in Transilvania – TEDIHT, has been mapping the main points of development with the help of digital technology and innovation led processes, for several years already. All the tracks proposed above are actual pain points in the regional business ecosystem in Transylvania and in Cluj county.
The Main Purpose of Transilvania Digital Innovation Summit 2025
As presented on the organizers – TEDIHT, the main purpose of the event is to raise awareness and bring more information to the local businesses and organization on the topic of digitalization. Education about new tech is necessary for each business owner and a key for his or her future development.

About the European Digital Innovation Hub in Transilvania
The European Digital Innovation Hub in Transilvania, was funded in 2017 by the Transilvania IT Cluster and ARIES Transilvania, following discussions at the Open Innovation 2.0 Conference, organized by ARIES Transilvania, Transilvania IT, Cluj-Napoca City Hall and the European Commission in Cluj-Napoca.
TEDIHT’s primary specialisation and services use AI, HPC and Big Data to support the green and digital transformation of SMEs and PSOs in the fields of Digital Health and Industry 4.0, leading to economic development, competitiveness and societal progress.
Currently the Cluj based innovation hub offers specialized services for testing advanced digital technologies, for skills development and training, as well as support in finding investments and creating an innovation ecosystem and networking in the region.
