Our 2024 software development internships in Transylvania are a total hit this summer! Having started in July, the software development internships in Transylvania at SOFTECH │ Codespring offices from Cluj-Napoca, Târgu-Mureș and Odroheiu Secuiesc, count 36 students and will end in September, before the beginning of the new academic year! The motivation is high, the projects are exciting and we cannot wait to see the final output. A big thank you to our partner universities – Babeș-Bolyai University (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics) and Sapientia Univeristy from Târgu-Mureș – that constantly deliver well prepared students and support cooperation with private companies, like ours. This year we also welcome students from the ELTE University in Budapest!

About The 2024 Summer Internships

Software development internships are never easy, but they are defineteley rewardful. They are an excellent opportunity to learn and do the first steps in your IT careers. An effective internship forces students to become flexible, to grow in the subject matter and to stretch mentally.

This year’s summer internship provides the students with the opportunity to stretch the knowledge and skills in the following topics:

  • Programming languages: Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin
  • Framework/Libraries: Spring, .NET Core, Node, React, React Native, Angular, Android, iOS
  • Environments/Devices: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, Serverless

At SOFTECH │ Codespring summer internships the IT students receive both theoretical and practical training. They finally work on real projects and gain insight into the day-to-day work of software developers.

Software Development Internship In Each Office from Transylvania

A long awaited objective has been achieved: to have internship students in each of our territorial offices, so that everyone in the company can sense the vibes of interacting with the younger generations.  2024 is special for our internship programme because this year the majority of the students opted for an office based work-style. The need for meaningfull interactions with fellow students and software development mentors calls back for the good old “office schedule”.

This summer student project portfolio covers curious topics from logistics, to healthy life-style and smart navigation. For example:

  • logistics for ordering and rapid delivery using React, React Native and related technologies
  • developing a Chatbot with the help of a pretrained network and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) process.
  • Developing a graphic visualizer for various narratives options
  • an app capable to identify ans disply parking Lots for the user and the parking administrators
  • navigation app using ultra-wideband location detection
  • a smart calories tracker application for helping user have a healthier life
  • an online voting application
