In May 2017, SOFTECH from Cluj-Napoca attended the 28th edition of CommunicAsia and EnterpriseIT 2017 in the Lion City of Singapore. Experts say that this exhibition turned back in a bigger format and with a more focused approach. Four floors of the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Grounds hosted the prestigious event, starting with 23 and until 25 May 2017. The key featured technologies were Borderless Broadband, Cloud & Big Data, Connect Everywhere, Enterprise Mobility, IoT, SatComm, Security & Cyber-Security and Smart Cities.
BroadcastAsia, held concurrently at Suntec Singapore, occupied a total of 20,000sqm spanning across three levels. Together, both shows welcomed 40,000 attendees as they experienced the complete ecosystem of Digital Media and ICT, and the convergence of both industries.
The Basement 2 hosted vibrant activities at the various country pavilions and feature areas such as DigiMarketing Lab, Taiwan Excellence Award Showcase and Xperience Zone. The largest-ever satellite contingent occupied the SatComm area at Level 1, while NXT at Level 5 focused on Smart City technologies and start-ups at Disrupt+.
Romanian Pavillion at CommunicAsia and EnterpriseIT 2017, Singapore
ICT professionals and technology-savvy visitors attended the show. The Romanian country pavilion hosted 7 companies, namely: Mind, Cexina Soft, Bitdefender, Luxsoft Professional Romania, Silicon Service, Omibit Solutions, SOFTECH and ETA Industrial Automations. The Romanian stand was organized by ATIC – The Association for Information Technology and Communications of Romania, member of World Information Technology Software Alliance (WITSA), of Council of European Professional Societies (CEPIS) and also of ITStar.
Interactivity at Its Best
Designated presentation areas such as the IoT Theatre and Xperience Zone allowed visitors to interact with exhibitors who shared their product offerings and helped buyers to better evaluate them for their respective businesses. As we are in the age of hyper-connectivity and R – VR – AR interaction – the audience was enchanted by the multiple possibilities to interact with the newest technologies.
