Those about to rock and to celebrate 25 years of SOFTECH │ Codespring we salute you! November was the moment to actually party and enjoy our 25th anniversary in the greatest company ever: our colleagues and their families, our customers and partners, our internships students and many, many friends!
We loved the venue, we loved the bands, we loved the food but most important: we loved everyone who joined our software development company’ s special day!
The Meaning of Our Anniversary Year
There are a lot that can be said about our 25 years of existence. Since 1998, SOFTECH │ Codespring team has been creating complex software development products and solutions for global customers.
“We are proud to reach a new landmark in the history of our company based in Transylvania, Romania: this year, we are celebrating 25 years of software development and delivery excellence! And this, was possible only because of our team! You, made this happen!” – declared Levente Szélyes, founder and CEO at the opening of the anniversary party!
“On our 25th anniversary, one of the best traits that we can convey about our company is that we have a fantastic community! The sense of being more than just a company is strong and we totally want to encourage both software developers and customers to work on their best ideas, best solutions and best outcomes!” – confirmed Barabás László, CTO.
There are definitely many aspects to celebrate in 2023, but we resume our list to ten essential facts.
- 25 years of software development meant for us both happy times and struggling times. The passage from a post-university activity to a fully-fledged company was slow and with many leaps.
- 25 years of growing with Cluj-Napoca can be resumed as a natural evolution of the city and of the IT community of which we are part. We can say proudly that we were among the first to set foundation of local clusters and associations, to collaborate with elite universities and institutes.
- 25 years of delivery excellence equals a sustained pace of satisfying our customers’ requests and living up to the challenges that we received over the years.
- 25 years of international cooperation were let us say, “by default” since our main aim was to work with elite software technology partners and industrial actors.
- 25 years of fine-tuning means that we strived to customize each collaboration, each project, in order to build long-term strategic partnerships and deal with core products, core software ecosystems.
- 25 years of tech innovation were not always the most obvious, as it happens with innovation. Yet, the spikes and the amazing tech results never ceased to appear and be acknowledged, even if most of the time under complete confidentiality.
- 25 years of automating industries stand for an impressive volume of projects delivered for over 13 different industrial branches.
- 25 years of building long-term partnerships did not happen over night! This was an intentional process and a challenging one. At the end of the day, relying on a professional team and knowing that this is reciprocated, is the most important business pillar.
- 25 years of organic growth are now finally perceivable! In the same way a tree grows from the seed to the point it bares fruits, our company took little steps but solid ones. Our team has grown slowly but surely as we have developed our capacity to integrate new colleagues and new customers.

SOFTECH 25 Anniversary Party in a Wrap
In the spirit of our rebel spirit, we set up an awesome rock night! Even if Freddie Mercury is not with us anymore, we thank Don’t Stop The Queen tribute band for an amazing performance at our event. We were then thrilled by Blaha Louisiana musical act and we tuned in in this specific modern vibe. At midnight we set the house on fire with Paddy and The Rats, a band that shook the ring floor and totally stole the show!
