SOFTECH team and the software development community from Cluj-Napoca, Romania shifted to the work-from-home, or remote work or home-office working model since the early start of the corona outbreak in Romania. As the remote work – under nearshoring or offshoring agreements – was and still is a common practice among tech companies, we were prompt to support the national prevention measures against the spread of corona virus in the region.
Infrastructure Readiness And Team Cohesion for Remote Work
Working on a daily basis with customers in Europe and North-America, SOFTECH infrastructure was already in place to make a quick shift and implement the home-office procedures along with all operational technicalities.
Acting as a large family, our team was prompt to take the necessary measures to support each other, to support our partners and join ranks to help those being in the frontline of the epidemy in Romania, by strictly following the local governments’ and WHO’s guidelines and recommendations.
Social Responsibility and An Upbeat Attitude
In this context, we have embraced an upbeat attitude and will continue to find ways to make the situation as comfortable as possible for our close community and partners. Based on hyper connectivity tools and digital capabilities, we stay strong together and hope to get back our individual mobility in a safe environment, as soon as possible.
Until then, SOFTECH team sends in some images from the actual home-offices, in order to showcase how software development and tech support work looks and feels these days.
Act now and promote remote work everywhere where this is possible, keep a strict hygiene and space sanitation, avoid unnecessary interactions and resume only to the recommended activities. Keeping social distancing rules is an act of responsibility.
