In these unprecedented times you shouldn’t forget cherished traditions! In Romania, we are preparing for our upcoming Easter break. And we are lucky because some of us get to celebrate Easter two times: this weekend and the next one. Independently of when your family celebrates Easter, our team at SOFTECH wishes you to enjoy this wonderful possibility to spend quality time with your loved ones.
For our partners abroad, we let them know that here in Transylvania, Romania, we have a beautiful mix of cultures. Our two offices – one in Cluj-Napoca ( in Hungarian Kolozsvár, in German Klausenburg) and one in Odorheiul Secuiesc (in Hingarian Székelyudvarhely, in German Oderhellen alternativ Hofmarkt) – are located in two different counties and are culturally enriched by each local tradition.
According to the Catholic church calendar we celebrate Easter on the 12th of April 2020, and according to the Orthodox Church calendar we celebrate Easter on the 19th of April 2020. Many families have relatives and friends who celebrate one or both dates. Naturally, the most happy about this are children who get chocolate and Easter eggs two times!
There are a lot of ceremonies taking place normally during Easter days. This year it will be a little bit different, but focus on the bright side of life.
