Yesterday we had the pleasure to also attend our regional IT community reunion: “A Toast to Innovation: Year-End Celebration” organized by Transilvania IT.
As it happens in each December, there was a time to pause and applause the major projects of Transilvania IT Cluster organization and to reflect upon what’s coming next.

Bianca Muntean, Executive Director of Transilvania IT and Coordinator of Transilvania European Digital Innovation Hub had the honor to present an impressive retrospective of the clusters activities over the year.

  • More than 500 persons attended the 20 professional trainings provided by Transilvania IT.
  • Four main work groups were active during 2024: Industry 4.0, Digital Health, Green & Digital and the HR work group, which affects more than 8000 employees in the IT industry of Transylvania region.
  • As an extremely active networking cluster, Transilvania IT participated in 90 industry events, one of the most important being the EDIH Network Summit, ESIR working group and the traditional European Clusters Conference.
  • In terms of publicly funded projects, Transilvania IT is currently deploying 18 projects, has managed to submit 43 new projects, out of which 24 projects being in course of evaluation.
  • In order to make our regional community more visible, Transilvania IT has managed to organize 41 professional delegations at national and international level.

The following milestones marked outstanding results for the local community:

  • TEDIH – The Digital innovation Hub in Transilvania was included as a good practice example in the Industrial Development Report 2024, published by the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO)

The wine tasting marked the actual toast for innovation and the reflection upon the transformative power of the passage pf the time. Mr. Septiumiu Crișan carried the audience thorugh a charming wine story across historical regions of France.

SOFTECH, as a proud member of Transilvania IT, congratulates everyone for navigating through this challenging year and thanks Transilvania IT team for all the effort and excellent work!
