May 2024 closes in style, with a new project of promoting the regional Transilvania IT community. For the opening of the media project, Transilvania IT features SOFTECH │ Codespring in the “We Love IT Campaign”. As a proud member of Transilvania IT cluster, our team was glad to answer the questions of the media team and to reveal more about our vision, mission, services and history.
Unfurling We Love IT Campaign at SOFTECH
Founded in 1998, SOFTECH | CODESPRING is one of the first IT companies based in Cluj-Napoca, providing software development services. The company serves international clients in Europe and North America. Counting a team of more than 176 software developers in 2024, SOFTECH | CODESPRING excels in building software products, solutions and ecosystems for customers from over 13 industries and economic sectors.
The media team of Transilvania IT was happy to visit our headquarters, to film one of our software development labs and to interview our top management representatives.
The filming started with a tech talk with PhD. László Barabás – CTO, SOFTECH │Codespring, former Digotal Solution Architect Principal at Accenture Industrial Software Solutions Romania and Associate Lecturer at Babeș-Bolyai Univeristy, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science:
“For me it is more than work, it is a vision that has become reality.” – stated PhD. László Barabás – CTO, SOFTECH │Codespring. He also continued: “We are present in the whole segment to prepare these applications, which are more than a single application; they are a very complex ecosystem. We are present in all stages of the preparation of this ecosystem. Starting with planning, requirements, development and quality assurance, including maintenance. Based on these we can say proudly that we have had a collaboration with some clients for more than 15 years!”
Next, we invited the media team in one of our software development departments and presented some of our colleagues, the type of projects we are used to work on and they had a tech talk with engineer Áron Sipos , Department Manager at SOFTECH │Codespring about the way we work and the importance of fast and qualitative project delivery.
“People are very responsible. This is extremely, extremely important and we put a lot of emphasis on it.”- Declared engineer Áron Sipos – Department Manager at SOFTECH │Codespring. He also explains: “Service quality is measured by code coverage and monitoring.” – Another important aspect in the eyes of every software services customer.
By midday, the media team from Transilvania IT had the chance to interview engineer Levente Szélyes, Founder & CEO of SOFTECH │Codespring – the one who led our team up to what it is today, in spite of all the changes that occurred in the last decades both at local and global level.
“We founded the company in 1998, 25 years ago. We do software development, so we are a technology company.” – declared engineer Levente Szélyes, Founder & CEO of SOFTECH │Codespring. “In addition to projects and other benefits, the atmosphere and culture in the company create teams that stick together and want to stay with us for a long time, so we have colleagues who have been with us since the 2000s.”
When asked about his perspective on the collaboration with Transilvania IT cluster, he recalled: “The best thing we have benefited from are the trainings and courses that are organized by the cluster for several companies together. It would be much more difficult for a single company to organize such an event by itself, but through the cluster it is very ok to have that.”
The Reason Behind We Love IT Campaign by Transilvania IT
As Laura Lămurean, former TV reporter and currently PR and Communication expert at Transilvania IT explained, our cluster community has indeed so much to offer! Based on her previous professional experience, Laura and her colleagues proposed the making of a video marketing campaign presenting the local IT companies. The aim of the campaign is to learn more about the cluster member companies and to present their work and services to the national and international ecosystem.
Transilvania IT features SOFTECH │ Codespring as the software development company who joined the associative spirit since the early beginnings of the clusterization process. The existence of the local clusters has been possible thanks to a handful of entrepreneurs and local founders who understood the importance of clusters in Romania.
We, at SOFTECH │ Codespring, consider such initiatives very important for making Cluj and Transylvania known in the business arena. The video content has the power to present more about our real working spaces, about our people and our characteristics that bring value to our services.
