For the 5th time in a row, Romania’s Official Delegation has attended the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.

The National Pavilion has been organized by ARIES-TM (The Romanian Association of Software Industry and Electronics – Timișoara Branch). According to the post-event press release, the event was a real success for all the attending companies.

The 14 companies reunited at the Romanian Pavillion in Hall 6, stand 6H40 have showcased mobile technology solutions and products. Among them we note the Romanian smartphone manufacturer Allview, that exhibited the X3 Soul Pro Dual SIM smartphone.

Softech, with its tech brand Codespring, had a positive experience at this edition of Mobile World Congress. Discussions were mainly about developing mobile solutions for various industries, home automation and smart living.

For ALTOM CONSULTING, a software testing company from Cluj-Napoca, MWC 2016 was a high quality experience in terms of meeting potential partners and establishing professional contacts. Also originated from Cluj-Napoca, CABRIO INVESTMENT, an end to end software development services provider, declared to have had a better visitor flow and more informed audience at this year’s mobile congress.

A seasoned MWC Barcelona attendee, COMPUTARIS ROMANIA, a custom software solutions provider for niche domains from Bucharest, transformed their participation at the national pavilion in a unique occasion to meet existing and new customers, having their own booth for the first time at this event.

Coming from the western part of Romania, Timișoara, ETA AUTOMATIZĂRI INDUSTRIALE has showcased its’ SafeFleet product – a GPS based fleet monitoring system.

EVOZON SYSTEMS representatives, from Cluj-Napoca, were thrilled to announce the initiation of a new partnership with a games distribution partner from Israel and the advances for other new business cooperation in Europe.

INFOBEST ROMANIA, a nearshore and offshore software outsourcing company from Timișoara concluded with a positive feedback on their services and the exhibited fashion application: Stylishcircle.

IT SIX GLOBAL SERVICES, a technology and outsourcing company from Craiova, declares to have initiated discussions with potential partners from US, Canada, France and Finland for mobile banking, IoT and mobile advertising related projects.

Also from Timișoara, M&M MEDIANET COM, an IT solutions integrator, has mainly developed cooperation perspectives with the Middle East and Asia. Their main attraction was the Mobtaxi – a white label solution for taxi fleets and IQBoards – a solution that integrates multiple mobile devices.

OCRMO TECHNOLOGY INC from Brașov, showcased the “60-Seconds Money Transfer” service with a dedicated remittance app and wallet. The turnkey financial franchise based on a self-sufficient and completely secure self-service network that allows for instant cash2cash settlement at more than 100 RemitATM machines deployed in key points on 5 continents was found intriguing by the visitors at the stand.

ROPARDO, a nearshore software development company from Sibiu, has delighted the visitors with live demos of ZIVACARE health monitoring complex systems and ROBOTHMI (a human-machine interface).

SIMARTIS TELECOM, a Romanian Systems House with core development knowledge in SIM, WEB and Server Applications & Services designed for the GSM Mobile Network Operators, has once again had a favorable expo experience at MWC 2016. Consequently, Simartis will also be present at MWC Shanghai 2016.

VISUAL FAN brought at MWC 2016, Barcelona the newest ALLVIEW technologies incorporated in the flagship products of the year: X3 Soul Pro and P8 Energy Pro. It worth mentioning the fingerprint sensor, the 2.5D glass, the USB-C cable and the 4GB RAM memory. The products raised the visitors and the press curiosity, therefore the booth was almost always full.

Softech’s Experience at MWC 2016

As for SOFTECH, our software development company form Cluj-Napoca, the Barcelona Mobile World Congress 2016 experience was definitely a positive one. Softech showcased its tech brand – Codespring and was delighted to greet visitors and partners at the boots. Not only we got in touch with the latest materials (like graphene) and technologies (VR equipment, automated cars, automated home sets) but we also have initiated partnerships with specialized companies from Europe.

As a first impression, MWC 2016 was definitely the place where mobile innovators meet in order to change the game of the mobile industry. Still characterized by the rawness of some presented solutions, this year it seemed as a refined atmosphere.
